Posted by wellington on May 9, '08 11:34 AM for everyone | | We were wandering aimlessly (as usual) with Yuwono Kurnia Rahman that day (5-April-08), and found a pub near boat quay that apparently caught on fire... A small fire by the way, it seems from 2nd floor.. and the fire brigade were able to put off the fire in the short time.
Fuji Superia Reala 100 on Lomo LC-A
( ngopi persis dari tulisannya ykr mwahahaha )
additional story : one policeman is coming to us, and ask... "are you guys from press?" we look at our self... i'm holding a lomo lc-a, ykr holding a hexar rf... while actually beside us got another party of 3 people with big wacky dslr + tele, but the policeman didn't ask anything... and we are thinking are this policeman blind or what? then we just answer lorrr... "uhmm no, we just random people passing by..." then few minutes later... another policeman passing through, then suddenly ask... "uhmmm are you guys from press?" *wakwauuuu* |

Posted by wellington on Mar 10, '08 9:01 PM for everyone | | Found a tutorial in internet to shoot with my Holga with 135 film, since i got a roll of superia 200 that have been on my room since last year, so i try to do the holgaramaaa...
So basically, with 60mm x 60mm mask in normal holga, we put a 135 film ( 24mm wide w/o sprocket ) so we got 60mm x 24mm there.. ( nearly 1 : 2.5 pano )
The most interesting effect is actually the sprocket of 135 film is exposed, and thanx to ykr, he scans it with medium format masking, so we still got the sprocket effect hehe...
No. 15, trying to do multi-exposure there, looks quite interesting, give some kind of 3D effects hehe.. ( different kind of 3d if you compare those olympus wannabe 3d effects whatsoever.. pfffttt ) maybe i should do lotsa2 multi-exposure in my next roll...
Cheers! |
Posted by wellington on Feb 15, '08 8:30 PM for everyone | | Setelah dibiarkan berdebu di atas lemari selama setaonan...

Posted by wellington on Nov 16, '07 10:11 PM for everyone Why do i fell in love with Street Photography, 1. Because Singapore is a small place, after awhile, you will start to go again and again to the same place, and in street photography, you can go to the same place for 3947828356278963427 times and yet got different moments... 2. I just like to see all the details that you see in your everyday lifes, nothing special, just good ol' boring day, then you capture something interesting from them... 3. It's really a leisure type of photography for me, low cost, no need fancy big wacky long lenses, no need to pay models, and the timing is whenever the place is whereever. ( is there such word in english? whereever? hehe ) 4. It's like seeing your world, your ordinary world in a different perspective.. Those are some of the reasons why i'm doing street photography 8->
